Priyanshu Jain Bags R 55 Lakhs Package from Google

New Delhi: Priyanshu Jain, a computer engineering student of Delhi Technological University (DTU), (erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering, DCE), bagged a package of Rs 55 lakhs from tech giants, Google.

The offer that places him as a Software Engineer at Google headquarters, has surprised not just Priyanshu's friends, but has overjoyed him as well.

Earlier too, DTU was known for good placement packages, but this has been exemplary, especially for computer engineering students—3 more students have bagged packages of Rs 40 lakhs each.

Earlier, three students of the department—Ajay Gupta, Gaurav Kumar and Saikat Debnath—bagged Rs 40 lakh package from American software firm, EPIC. Debnath has also been offered a Rs 20 lakhs package from Google.

Companies like Microsoft, Indian Oil, Maruti, TCS, Mckinsey, Oracle, NTPC, Wipro, NTPC, Goldman, etc, too have visited DTU this year for placements.
